PBwiki’s 3rd birthday is coming up on May 31, and to celebrate that happy day, as well as PBwiki hitting the 500,000 wiki mark, we’re giving away free lifetime upgrades to wikis 499,999, 500,000, and 500,001.  Click here for the full announcement.

We’ll be announcing the three lucky winners on June 4.  They’ll be receiving lifetime upgrades with all the bells and whistles.  Tell your friends!

  21. The wiki has been a great way to share information with all of our prek staff. We have 7 start times so it is hard to get all our teachers together at one time for a teachers meeting. Posting the information on the wiki has helped!
    Some of our teachers want to use the wiki to share lesson plans, but we need more storage space. An upgrade would be very useful for that, but we are funded with grants and paying for the upgrade is not in the budget.

  26. I love pbwiki!
    Please sign me up for a lifetime upgrade with all the bells and whistles!
    My students and I love the 24/7 access and discussion we can have using a pbwiki. I have one for each class and it would be great to add more memory for the kids! We could load up their PSAs, movies, etc.

  30. I use my wiki page for my school and the students I teach in Kindergarten-8th grade! I currently have 188 pages on the wiki. I host my lessons, students project and all my teachnology resources!

  43. Don’t have budget for pbwiki upgrade – but I’m certain that my classes could have a much better experience with an upgraded site. Besides that, I’d love to show some other faculty members what can be done outside the stodgy and inflexible institutional “eLearning” atmosphere.

  45. we are a scout group. The wiki is our organization tool. We post our meetings description. The kids can give their imput or make changes. We plan our trip, post photo, make our menu, grocery list, ect. It’s been great to allow every body’s imput in a very efficient way. But we could use more power to be make it an even better tool. We just don’t have the funds for an upgrade. So, Yes we could use a free upgrade.

    Do you realise that pb in pb wiki are the reverse initial pr BP (Baden Powell) 😉

I have been a PBwiki user since you began – I use wikis for every class I teach, and my students also build wikis for collaboration and presentations – thanks to Wikis I do not hand out or collect a single piece of paper , and I teach about 250 students a year! I would love to be a lifetime wiki upgrader!
